Shigeru Ishiba, just named Japan’s new PM, is a founding member of a parliamentary group that supports research into UAPs. He also served as defense minister from 2007-2008 and has spoken hypothetically about how the government might respond to UFOs appearing in Japan’s airspace.

    Japan’s ruling party elected a new Prime Minister today who previously served as the Minister of Defense. He has spoken frequently about the topic of UFOs and more recently was one of the founding members of a group of Japanese parliament members that was announced to promote research into the topic of UAP – the group specifically used the term
