One of the most mystical places on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast is the megalithic sanctuary Beglik Tash. Access to the site was impossible until the 1980s, as the terrain was within the boundaries of the hunting residence "Perla" used by Todor Zhivkov.
The Thracian sanctuary is much more than a cultural and historical heritage for the Bulgarians. It is considered an extraordinary and magical place that makes wishes come true. Hundreds visit it, believing that the mystical energy will help them create a happy family and have children.
