August 9, 2024 i went on an overnight backpacking trip. I started at Chiquito trailhead in Sierra National Forest and ended at Lower Chain Lake. About 3mi i arrived at Chiquito Lake and as i stood there admiring the lake and taking a short breather, i noticed a silvery object moving very very slowly from right to left. It was around 300ft above the landscape. It made no sound at all. I immediately knew this was something different. I took out my phone and took 4 photos. I wish I'd had the mindset to take video! But i got very good photos.
Let me know what you think. Included is one photo i tried to use some AI tech to zoom in and clarify. As you can tell its not very good. Im not tech savvy. If anyone else can do better, please do. I would love to see it in better quality and clarity.
I did not see any wings. It made zero noise. And moved extremely slow.
