I think there is probably an explanation for most stuff but I’m not sure what this is. I originally thought it was lanterns but it seemed really bright for it to be that. There was more lights before I could pull over and get a video of it. There originally were like 12 and they were moving up and down a good amount.

Were they stationary or did they move? And if they moved, how did they move?
Wow, this is actually extremely similar to my first sighting with some buddies back in high school. My friend lived out in the boonies and we saw this, initially thinking Chinese lanterns. But they’d move up, down, side to side, and become stationary. What’s odd is they’d “cloak” almost, disappearing then reappearing. About 10-12, made a formation in the sky, constellation-like.
They then moved up into the atmosphere before getting out of sight. So cool to see something similar, putting a face to the name so to speak.

Wait where was this I saw three things similar today and thought it may have been planes. They were oddly red
