    Hey all,

Did a night hike up Mount Tamalpais, CA. This is my second milky way attempt, and first attempt with a star tracker.

Took 93 lights @ 20 second exposures (couldn’t expose too long due to San Francisco light pollution) at 1000 ISO. 41 Biases, 33 Darks, 45 Flats. Used the Star Adventure Star Tracker 2i, had some difficulty setting up the tracker. My tripod was the Peak Designs Carbon Fiber tripod

Stacked and stretched in Siril, star reduction with GIMP, and lightroom color processing.

    Camera: Sony A7RIII
Lens: Sigma 24-70mm DN DG I

Please let me know how I can improve! I feel like every time I process in Siril, the colors become so saturated. I want a more “realistic” and natural looking Milky Way. Also, if you see any other deep space objects that I missed, please let me know! I want to learn more on identifying objects. Thank you!

I wonder if our galaxy can be seen as clearly or even more clearly on some rocky moons of the gas or ice giants with little atmosphere
