I can tell you l am the guy who always hates those UFO videos that happen to be recorded on the worst device possible.
This case is different because I'm a plane enthusiast, a part-time photographer, and use professional equipment.
The thing never appeared to be spinning. It really only seemed to turn. As well, it didn't look like it changed altitude. This is the exact setup for all my photos, so judging from past photos, it could be 50k+ feet.
I would want to think that it's some sort of UAV, judging by the shape.
For reference, this was over Dallas, Texas (5:54-6:01 p.m., long time)

i saw this very thing out a plane window yesterday, on a flight from IAD to MSP. it was a few thousand feet below us and passed in the span if a few seconds, so i didnt have time to record it.
i echo the same thought that it was rotating slowly, but honestly feel like it was changing shape while rotating. definitely not soinning blades or maneuvering as a result of it.
impressive! what stopped you from also making a video ?
