It would check in on my as a kid at night, the air would shimmer and fuzz, then it would be there. I wouldn’t always be able to move and when I could it would be weird. It was Like it looked through a window. Only happened a few times, 4 or 5, it’s creeped me out more than most supernatural stuff.
