September 22, 2024I traveled to the top of the famous Mauna Kea volcano in Hawaii to capture the moment Saturn slipped behind the moon. This was captured using a 14″ telescope I borrowed on the island.

Just looks like Jupiter or a bright star out of focus.
No, a supernova visible from earth with the naked eye would be all over the news.
