Submission statement: In an interview [on Youtube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fR7lwhnuFeQ), former Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet says he personally filmed video evidence of orb UFOs flying around his psychic daughter’s bedroom and suggests maybe the orbs are “spirits” or “energy” from dead people from “the other side”. Gallaudet will testify to Congress about UFOs in November.

I wonder how Tim would respond to the folks who will inevitably try discrediting his and his family’s experiences. It has happened to the Bledsoes it has happened to Elizondo, and it has happened to countless others who have witnessed orbs.
How much data do we need before some quantitative analysis and critical thinking can be applied? When will the stigma fall in favor of curiosity?
I don’t anticipate a sea change in belief until a critical mass of individuals experience it for themselves. No amount of testimony or evidence could be provided that would shift the paradigm of pathological skepticism we see so often in this community. Seeing is believing, and unfortunately there just aren’t enough people who have seen these phenomena for themselves. Nothing will change their tune short of personal experience and that’s a real tragedy.

One can assume a Rear Admiral can tell the difference between supernatural orbs and out of focus dust particles often seen in home cameras.
