I just watched this video of a floating cube inside a sphere (link), and the first thing that came to mind was Carl Sagan’s brilliant explanation of higher dimensions in his Cosmos series (link). The cube’s movement through the sphere feels like a visual representation of a higher-dimensional object passing through our 3D world, similar to how Sagan illustrated interactions with the fourth dimension. It’s fascinating to think about!

Wait, that actually makes a lot of sense.
In flat land, just the 2d image would show up should we enter. Why was I thinking that if a “hole” popped up in 3d land, it would be 2 dimensional? Idk.
But within that hole, the 3d representation of a 4d object.

  2. Gravity bubble or whatever you call it seems like a better explanation but this is the second best.
