In Whitley Strieber's Communion and various other encounters and NDE's, there has been reports of short little blue entities. I'm always interested in tracing these and lately, I've come to the conclusion that many of these aliens can be traced back to ancient cultures, especially the so-called gods or Archons. For example, did you know the Greek word for "Seer" or soothsayer is "Mantis"? If you've read any accounts of the Mantis beings you will see that they often try to predict the future or use a person's energy in the area of their liver, exactly what ancient seers did in a practice of liver reading. Also where many religions believe the soul resides.
Anyways, these little blue guys are often described as being really happy or jovial even. Similar to a deity the ancient Egyptians worshiped called "Bes". Normally Egyptian gods were shown in profile, but instead Bes appeared in full-face portrait, ithyphallic, and sometimes in a soldier's tunic, so as to appear ready to launch an attack on any approaching evil.

What does it mean? Well, at the end of the book Sekret Machines, the book ends with a cliffhanger essentially saying that the Greek gods never left us. I believe that most of these Gods are the same entities across multiple cultures, just described a bit differently or through a different cultural lens. In this case these beings are connected to the Goddess Hathor. I think most of these aliens are actually servants of these ancient Gods. Explains why there are accounts of aliens wearing things similar to ancient Egyptian headdresses or NDEs seeing people in white tunics. But that's just like…my opinion man.
