I was watching the return of the spacex booster and noticed a sizeable object lingering around the rocket. I’ve seen a lot of videos of spacex debris being identified as ufos and that could possibly be what this is, however you can see at the bottom of the screen the speed that its going and the rocket is like 22 stories and theres no other debris in frame. Could totally be a perspective thing but figured I’d share anyway.

I saw this during the live footage and thought it very odd. Tim Dodd has a stream which had two separate views of the re-entry and the object was visible in both. I thought perhaps it might’ve been the spacer ring between the first and second stage, however, it’s worth remembering that the booster is slowing down significantly during this footage and reversing direction to head back to the launch site. I can’t understand (hey-I’m no rocket scientist) how that ring (if that’s what it is) could remain in shot for so long.
