Nick Pope worked on the MOD’s “UFO desk” for 21 years and says the 1993 incident is one of the most baffling cases he ever worked on.
Hundreds of people reported a triangular shaped craft moving in a way that defied the laws of science.
BBC Radio Shropshire’s Johnty O’Donnell asked Nick to explain the unexplainable.
“It was traveling very slowly, I should say, probably no more than 20 or 30 mph. Then it gained a little bit of height, and then it just shot off to the horizon in little more than a second.”
